About Workforce Preparedness Speakers
We are searching for professionals from a wide range of backgrounds to present on important job and life skills as part of our middle school curriculum. Our Teacher Assistants in Training program, which caters to 9th grade graduates from the program, focuses on providing students the necessary tools to succeed in high school, graduate from high school, and obtain entry into college, a skilled training program, or a career. This workforce preparation curriculum focuses on a variety of skills such as resume building, gathering letters of recommendation, managing finances, interviewing, and much more.
Application Process
If you are interested in presenting to our 9th graders on a Tuesday or Thursday morning between the dates of July 8th and August 14th, please reach out to Executive Director Julia Postler with your contact information and what you would be interested in speaking about.
