About Horizons Holiday Dinner Volunteers

Every year, Horizons hosts a Holiday Dinner for students and their families. We celebrate our program, share a special meal together, give gifts, and enjoy the company of our Horizons community.

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in spreading joy this holiday season at our dinner on December 17, 2017! Below are various volunteer positions:

1. Event Set Up and Check-In: 2 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Assist with general event set up (moving tables and chairs, set dishware on tables, ensure technology is running smoothly), greet families, lead check-in, and escort groups to seating.

2. Wait Staff and Drink Refill: 4:15 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Assist kitchen staff with preparing plates, serve families, and refill drinks as needed.

3. Gift Giving and Tear Down: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Assist Horizons staff in passing out gifts to Horizons students, wash dishes, tear down tables/chairs, and general evening clean up.
