About Volunteer, Donate, Adopt

Transport:
Once a month, shelters from all over Mississippi descend on Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, bringing with them anywhere from 60 to 100 dogs traveling to the Northeast. All of these dogs are checked in, seen by a veterinarian for one last health check, and loaded onto our trailer. This requires a lot of people and planning! If you live in the Starkville, MS area and would like to help with transport, just 'Contact Us' and ask to be put on our 'Volunteer' email list!

Fostering
Homeward Bound has a foster program for dogs found locally in the Starkville area. We are always looking for responsible, loving people to care for these dogs while they are waiting to go on transport! If you live in the Starkville, MS area and are interested in being a foster for Homeward Bound, please 'Contact Us'!
