About Heritage Explorer Bike Tour and Festival
The 2012 Heritage Explorer Bike Tour and Festival will be held on June 16th at Mellow Park in Peckville. Last year we had over 400 participants and many more at the festival. We are hoping for more this year. This is a huge event and it takes a lot of volunteers to run, so if you want to come out and help volunteer sign up and let me know!
We need volunteers to help with:
Trail Prep Work
April 30, 2012 8:00pm
Volunteers will be conducting trail clean-ups prior to the event, during the months of April and May. This can be physical work and is for the people who like the outdoors.
Gift Giving and Merchandise
June 15, 2012 8:00pm
After people register for the event they will be given a goodie bag full of gifts. Volunteers will be handing out t-shirts, and bags. This year we will also be selling merchandise (jerseys, extra t shits).
Set up and Tear Down
June 15, 2012 8:00pm
People who are willing to help set up or tear down should be available to work on Friday June 15 to help set up the registration and festival grounds. People can also volunteer to work the day of helping take everything down after the event.
Registration
June 15, 2012 8:00pm
People who will be doing registration will need to get to the site before 7 am. Registration will be open from 7-10 on Saturday June 16.
Grounds
June 15, 2012 8:00pm
People will be needed to provide assistance to the participants at the event. It can be a hectic morning and the grounds people explain where people park and help with everything leading up to the event.
