About Brighten Someone's Day

Love to talk? Share stories? Sing?

Volunteering for hospice is a rewarding experience that allows you to learn about another person's life, share stories and provide companionship to people in need of a friend.
Volunteers decide what day and times they visit; we are very flexible. Your patients will be located in your area and you can gain invaluable experience in the healthcare field.
We have patients in retirement homes and personal homes around the Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Holt, Mason, Jackson and Hillsdale areas.
If you are interested in healthcare and brightening someones' day, please contact our volunteer coordinator.

Application Process

We provide an orientation and ongoing training to ensure volunteers are properly educated on healthcare and hospice services. Our volunteers are required to complete a background check, fingerprinting and TB test. We will provide the TB test and pay for the background check.
