About Compassionate Volunteers Needed
Do you love to talk? Do you love to make people smile? Do you love hearing people describing their experienceing growing up in a different time?
Hospice volunteers are assigned a patient that they will visit weekly. Some patients may enjoy sharing stories or playing cards, others may like having someone read to them or hold their hand.
As a volunteer you're allowed the flexibility to decide your own schedule. Volunteers receive essential training and gain experience within the healthcare field. You'll learn about people's lives, their unique history and experience while providing an invalueable service to people in need
We have volunteer opportunites in throughout Lansing, East Lansing and Okemos.
Find out why volunteer experience is so enriching by coming to Heartland’s Volunteer by contacting our Volunteer Coordinator, Kristen Cooper at (517) 244-0404.
