About Hospice friendly visit volunteers- Flexible schedules

Our program offers several different types of volunteering. Patients can be on hospice for many different reasons and often are on services for a long time.
FRIENDLY VOLUNTEERS- visit patients either in their homes or in a facility. Not only do you get to bring some joy to the patient but also their loved ones. This is a rewarding opportunity that allows you to give back to others. Once training is completed the schedule is very flexible and typically would see the patient once a week.
VIGIL VOLUNTEERS: This is additional training to the friendly volunteer and just offers support in the last few hours of life.
ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEERS: Offer assistance in the office.
Our main office is in Mason but we can accommodate volunteers in several counties.

Application Process

Send me an email that you are interested in volunteering and we can set up a meeting for an interview, sign for a background check, finger printing, TB test and training. We will pay all the expenses for all of the above.
