About Rural Health Projects

Our projects are designed to help the rural people of Nepal where health facilities are not up to date or nonexistent. Most of the well trained health workers and doctors are less motivated to work in the rural areas and would prefer to be centrally located in the cities where more advanced equipment and greater opportunities exist. Thus it makes it harder for the rural people to have access to qualified health professionals. Indeed, most Health Posts are manned by health assistants or paramedics who are usually under trained and the facilities are understaffed and under equipped.
