About Join a Hawaii Village Build Team

The Hawaii Village Build program supports the mission of Habitat for Humanity by providing cross-cultural experiences, mobilizing volunteers, building sustainable relationships and generating resources, in the hope of creating long-term advocates for affordable housing.

If you enjoy helping communities all the while exploring one of the most beautiful states in the nation, join a Hawaii Village Build team today.

As a team member, you will be lead by a Team Leader on your HVB trip to one of the selected locations in Hawaii (Oahu, Kauai, Maui, or Hawaii Island) for 8-10 days. A Hawaii Village Build team usually consists of 8-12 people in a team. As a team, you will embark on a journey to build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.

2. Fill out and submit your application online.
3. Expect an HVB Team Leader's call/email for an interview and more information about your HVB trip.
