About Rock to Rock
We are fundraising to continue the great work of food recovery in New Haven County. We are looking for more volunteers to raise funds to help us care for the environment by keeping food out of incinerators and keep harmful CO2 out of the community. We do this by sharing good edible food with community partners that serve the people in their community. 40% of food produced in this country gets thrown away. This year, we have already completed 1401 food rescues. That is equivalent to 317,560 meals given to the community and 206,922 of CO2 prevented. Recovered food is a community resource!
