Hattiesburg Concert Association

About Us

It is the mission of the Hattiesburg Concert Association to culturally enrich, engage, and educate people of all ages, ethnicities and socio-economic levels. With an emphasis on education, our projects improve the quality of life for Mississippians by expanding access to the arts, creating meaningful experiences, and facilitating opportunities for creative thinking. Furthermore, we honor Mississippi’s rich cultural heritage and its legacy of artistic excellence and aim to improve the overall cultural image of Mississippi. Our events and projects support community improvement, urban revitalization, and economic development.
We offer more than 100 events each year, primarily during FestivalSouth, an annual multi-week festival presenting a variety of musical and other arts-related entertainment that transcends social, cultural, and economic lines. The Meistersingers Civic Chorus has presented choral concerts for almost two decades. Our Artie events for children are some of our most popular programs, specifically designed to expose our youth to the arts and encourage an appreciation through education.
