About 2015 Cereal Festival Volunteers

Every June the Battle Creek Cereal Festival is an event that celebrates the City of Battle Creek and features the World's Longest Breakfast Table. Events take place throughout the weekend to celebrate a community proud of its rich and varied past. The event includes a parade, all day concerts, healthy living activities, food donation opportunities for the Food Bank and informational tents.

This year, the 2015 Cereal City Festival featuring the "World's Longest Breakfast Table" will be taking place from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Michigan Ave. between Washington Avenue to Tompkins Street.

Volunteers are needed to support this event. Specific duties highlighted in the shifts below. Please sign up above if you would like to volunteer. Scheduling is flexible.

When you arrive, please check in at the HandsOn Battle Creek booth to register, pick up your t-shirt, receive your assignment, and get the appropriate orientation/training.

Morning Shift Volunteers

June 13, 2015 7:00am – 11:00am
This task is filled or completed
Volunteers are needed for the morning shift to assist with a variety of tasks. Responsibilities could include (but are not limited to):
- Distributing cereal and beverages
- Supervising and managing children's play area
- Cleaning up festival grounds
- Assisting with vendor area set-up
- Transporting supplies throughout festival grounds

Afternoon Shift Volunteers

This task is filled or completed
Volunteers are needed for the morning shift to assist with a variety of tasks. Responsibilities could include (but are not limited to):
- Supervising and managing children's play area

- Assisting with vendor area
- Transporting supplies throughout festival grounds
