About Parenting Class Mentors

Mentors are needed for our next parenting class series that starts in January. Mentors can get training now by auditing our current parenting series that is part-way through the term. Classes are held at a nearby church Sunday mornings 8:30 am to 10 am. Parenting mentors attend class with the parents they are mentoring and call their families five nights per week to go over a short devotion during the course of the class, which takes approximately 14 weeks to complete. Parents may bring their children to the parenting class, and devotions are conducted by phone.

Application Process

Volunteers will need to go through an orientation, interview, and audit some parenting classes in order to make sure they have the aptitude, training, and desire to mentor a family in our style.

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
