About Case Manager - Position
Qualifications: Requires experience working with those experiencing homelessness and/or living in poverty. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Nursing, or other related Social Science field.
Case Manager- Case management for homeless or at-risk for homelessness. Financial capability counseling and Housing placement. As a general statement, case management means assessment of needs, planning activities and strategies to meet needs, implementing that plan through regular contact with the client and evaluating the effectiveness of the plan with the intent of making necessary changes. It includes knowledge of and linkage to community resources. All counselor positions must achieve and maintain certification. Requires extensive documentation and billing procedures. Full time position. Pay scale begins at $15 an hour for uncertified trainees, $16 an hour for certified counselors and will be set according to experience. Veteran preferred.
