About Capital Kwanzaa Celebration

C864685a0c2d02c8174f9b472ff16b95fadfd66e

This annual 7-day celebration of Kwanzaa occurs from December 26 to January 1st each year. A group of non-profits in the Capital Region join together to plan and celebrate Kwanzaa in a different location each of the 7-days of Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is focused on the 7 principals that can help us improve family and community. There are opportunities to perform, participate in discussions on topics related to our communities, vend and assist in the planning, set up and clean up of each day's celebration. We are now in the planning phase.

Application Process

Call the Hamilton Hill Arts Center to inform us of your interest and the dates of upcoming planning meetings. The celebrations are free and open to the public.

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
