About Women Build 2015

With the month of October already being focused on women we thought it would be a perfect fit for Women Build. Families with children with a female head of household make up a staggering number of those in need of adequate housing. This 8th annual event will bring together Mississippi Gulf Coast area women as they grab their hammers and volunteer during the month of October.
Habitat will have teams working at our construction site in Ocean Springs (nicknamed the “Women Build House”) from October 13th to October 31st. We are asking each volunteer to raise a minimum of $350, which will go towards a house sponsorship for the Women Build House. We will set up a page for each team and each team member that can be sent out via email and social media.
