About Rope Certified Volunteers

The Event:
Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast is raising funds by partnering with Over the Edge to give people the chance to rappel down the IP Casino Resort & Spa on May 20 & 21, 2016!

Participants will be raising, on average, $1,000 per person for this exclusive opportunity to rappel. If you donate your time and effort, YOU WILL GET TO RAPPEL FOR FREE!

The Company:
Over The Edge is a US special events company that specializes in hosting signature events, specifically building rappels. We have been operating throughout North America since 2003, assisting thousands of participants in partaking in a once in a life experience for a great cause.

Requirements:
Previous experience with rope safety systems: ropes course facilitation, rock climbing instruction, high angle rescue, industrial rope access, etc.

Your Time:
 30-45 min online webinar, (details via email)
 May 20, 2016: Media & VIP Rappels + Ropes Volunteer (RV) Training & Rappels
 May 21, 2016: Edger Rappels all day!

Points to Note:
OTE covers all volunteers under their $10 million general liability policy. The site is OSHA compliant and SPRAT guidelines are followed.
