About New Construction

Garland Area Habitat for Humanity brings volunteers and resources together with families in need (30-60% median income) to build decent, affordable homes within our service area which is Garland, Rowlett and Sachse.

Tasks are subject to change depending on the stage of the house. Activities may include: framing, installation of doors and windows, preparing for plumbing, heating, and electrical, exterior finishes, interior finishes, installation of cabinets and fixtures, painting, and landscaping.
