Our Mission Statement:
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati (HFHGC) is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. HFHGC is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati was formed by the merger of two affiliates that have been serving the area since 1986 – Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity and TriState Habitat for Humanity. The goal of the merged affiliate is to increase the capacity to serve even more families in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties in Ohio; Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn and Ohio counties in Indiana. The new, merged affiliate continues to be driven by the same mission, vision and core principles. To reach our goals, we rely on a passionate staff and Board of Directors. The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati Board is comprised of members from the former Cincinnati and TriState Boards.
