Do you want to play a part in eliminating poverty housing in Clinton County Michigan? Then come volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Clinton County. We are gearing up to start construction on our St Johns home and we would like to you play a part. We are currently looking for volunteers either in singles or groups to help eliminate poverty housing one nail at a time. The type of things you can help with include framing, roofing, and painting, but it will include a large variety of things as the project progresses. You can also help out by providing lunches for volunteers, or by donating to help fund our next build. Our planned date for starting construction will be middle May to possibly middle September. We do work with youth groups, but tend to wait later in the build, as we cannot have power tools on site if they are younger than 18. At the moment we do not have opportunities for volunteers younger than 16 on the construction site, but they can help with lunches.
For applicants in need of community service you will be required to undergo a background check. If you are interested in building with us please either fill out a volunteer application at http://habitatclinton.org/get-involved-2/volunteer-interest-form/ or contact Eric Burt at 989-227-1771 Ext 5.
No one has signed up yet, but you could be the first!
