About Ride Along Volunteer

Provide an excellent/positive experience to encourage future donations while picking up donations using the ReStore truck.

Responsibilities:
Assist Staff Member in picking up donations from donor’s homes.
Assist in unloading donations at the ReStore
Advocate for the Habitat ReStore in the community
Complete donation receipts
Able to lift 50lbs individually on a regular basis
Strong customer service and communication skills
Able to determine if a donation is acceptable for the ReStore
Ability to work with a partner
Knowledge of Calhoun County area a plus
Well-mannered with ability to interact with wide variety of people
Minimum Age 18 years old
In order to qualify for this position you must be at least 18 years old and be able to lift 50 lbs. or more with assistance.

There is an application form, which can be found on the Documents section of our page. We also will run a background check, we do this for all volunteers.
If everything clears you will be invited down to the office to meet with our volunteer coordinator to discuss further details.
