About Troop Leadership Team

Volunteers can be a troop leader, co-leader, cookie or sales manager or a troop helper. Troops can meet in schools, churches, community centers, etc. Leader have the choice of how often they meet (we ask no less than twice a month).

The nature of this position requires the individuals to work directly with girls, helping them to develop their leadership skills on an individual or group basis. The leadership team will have the enthusiasm and ability to generate girls' interest and curiosities about the ways that they can discover themselves, connect with others, and take actions to make the world a better place through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Leadership teams can be comprised of a minimum of two or as many adults as needed to provide the best experience for girls while following GSUSA's girl/adult ratio's.
