About Socializing/Cleaning

Volunteers will be helping socialize shelter animals and provide them with much needed attention and affection. This task is accomplished by spending time with individual animals, playing with them, walking them, petting them, and instructing them to follow basic instructions. Animal care assistants may also assist with cleaning, administrative work, and other shelter tasks on occasion.
