Meet Vincent! This little Chihuahua came to our shelter from a local pound a few weeks ago. After a few days, we noticed that he was walking funny, avoiding putting weight on one of his hind legs. We took him to the vet where he had an X-ray, and it was discovered that he has a fracture in his hip. The estimated cost for the surgery is $1438.
Right now, Vincent is in a foster home and is doing well. However, he must have this surgery to have a long and happy life. The cost of this surgery falls outside of our regular budget and so we are looking for some extra help to pay for his surgery. The surgery is currently scheduled for March 29, 2017.
