About GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance

The Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance is a non-profit organization, seeking volunteers for the 4-day festival. It occurs from July 18th to July 21st. The festival is primarily a volunteer run event, as we annually seek 1,300 volunteers for 40 different volunteer “crews”. The crews that require a large volume of volunteers include kitchen/hospitality, trash & recycling, and breakdown (after festival). Help with onsite logistical crews such as camping, parking, and the front and back gates are in need of assistance as well. In exchange for volunteering, you will receive a ticket to the festival.
