About A Life Changing Experience! Volunteer with Hospice in Battle Creek!

We are seeking compassionate and fun loving volunteers for side by side companionship with patients. Companions spend time with patients having friendly chats, or participating in hobbies the patient enjoys. They could also provide respite for caregivers by sitting with the patient and allowing the caregiver time out of the home. This gives the patient's caregiver time away from the home to take care of things (like their own medical appointments) that they would not otherwise be able to do. This would be the perfect opportunity for students, working professionals, or retired people due to the flexibility of days/hours! Volunteers are a vital part of our staff, and have the very personally rewarding experience of brightening someone's day!
