About Help with Design & Creation of Vegetable Garden

We have a 28 room residence that houses individuals who have disabilities or who have had suffered from homelessness. Our mission is to teach them good nutrition by consuming food they have grown and cultivated. Food will be used in the cafeteria which provides three daily meals. Our staff members need help planning and planting since we lack green thumbs. We would like one or two volunteers to help with the design and several more to help plant the garden. There will be one major event the day we plant and a few other opportunities to volunteer when we are in the planning stages. We are targeting early April to start the garden. Would like to launch during volunteer week which begins April 10th.

Application Process

We will require an application process. There will not be a background check for the event of planting the garden.
