About Golden Triangle Walk to End Alzheimer's Walk

Would you like to help spread the word about the fight to end Alzheimer's?

The Golden Triangle Walk to End Alzheimer's is more than a walk. It is an experience for more than 400 participants in the Golden Triangle area to learn about Alzheimer's disease and how to get involved with this critical cause. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research programs.

Volunteers are needed to assist with setup (tents, tables, sound equipment), registration, putting together Promise Garden flowers, route directions, water stations, clean up, and more. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. Volunteers must commit to at least a 2 hour shift.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 31, from 7 am to noon at the New Starkville City Hall Building in downtown Starkville.

To volunteer, contact Cindy Brown at [email protected] and please indicate what task you would like to help out with if you have a preference.
