About Kennel Volunteer (Must be 18 or older)
Description: Kennel volunteers work at the kennel either mornings or evenings and are required to clean kennels, feed, walk and socialize all Goldens housed at the Louisville kennel.
Skills or Equipment Needed: Strong understanding of dog behavior, good dog management skills on a leash, and an obsession with safety. A willingness to roll your sleeves up and clean out the kennels.
Time Requirements: Weekday morning shifts are 8 until 9 am, weekend mornings are 7:30 – 9:30 am. Sunday through Thursday evening shifts are 6 – 7pm. Friday and Saturday evening shifts are 5 – 7 pm. Our needs are daily but we have other volunteers and kennel employees to help.
