About Running Buddy

Each of our GOTR girls is required to have a running buddy for the 5K event. The majority of the time, it is mom, dad, other relative or close family friend; however, there are times when the girls do not have someone to run with, at that point, we look to our community volunteers.​ All community running buddies must be at least 18 years old. This is an exciting position because you get to be with a girl when she crosses that finish line and accomplish something most of them can't even begin to imagine.
