About 2024 Rhode Island Civics Day

Please join Generation Citizen as a volunteer Community Advisor for our Rhode Island Spring 2024 Civics Day on Friday, May 17th from approximately 9:30am-12:00pm at the RI State House.

Civics Day is like a science fair, but for civics—where middle and high school students present their Action Civics projects to business, civic, and nonprofit leaders like you.

As a Community Advisor, you and 100+ other guests will authentically engage with our students and provide them feedback on their Action Civics projects. Civics Day is a prime opportunity to learn directly from young people why they're committed to not just talking about change, but to truly leading it in their communities and beyond.

During Civics Day, there will be time for networking with students and your fellow advisors. After you sign up below, we will follow up with all registrants to confirm participation and provide additional details as the date approaches. You will receive a brief training at the start of the event on your role as a Community Advisor.
