About G4G Los Angeles - LA River Parks Clean-Up

We are very excited to partner with the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA; http://www.mrca.ca.gov/) and the LA River Corp (LARC; http://www.larivercorp.com/) to bring Gay for Good members to the banks of the LA River.

The day's event will accommodate up to 70 volunteers to help maintain a series of river-front parks and keep the LA River bike-path in good shape. Any tools that are needed will be provided by our partner MRCA, but please feel free to bring work gloves and reusable water bottles if you have them.

We'll meet at Oso Park. Limited street parking is available on Blake Avenue and Oros Street so please carpool if possible.

Also, while you are in the area feel free to turn your morning of service into a full day event by exploring the LA River (http://www.thelariver.com/guide/) and taking advantage of all that it has to offer.
