Since 1976 Gadabout has been providing affordable, accessible transportation to older adults and people with disabilities within Tompkins County.
Our fleet of 30 lift-equipped vehicles operated by staff and volunteer drivers travel the County taking people where they need to go. Whether its medical appointments, work, shopping, social outings, or to volunteer, Gadabout is there to help. For many riders, there are no other means of affordable, accessible transportation. Our riders have come to rely on us as a way to remain living in their homes and active members of the Community.
In 2014 Gadabout provided 65,214 rider trips and traveled 509,017 miles. Our fundraising goal this year is a dollar a ride. Gadabout has struggled the last few years in making ends meet. Your donation helps ensure that the critical need for our service is able to be met.
