About FunNation Food Drive

To help keep you healthy and safe during Covid-19, we are hosting a food-drive this semester to help a local food pantry. The Circle of Hope Community Center also supports the Capital Area Food Bank by taking a mobile food pantry to Calvary Austin on the first Tuesday of every month.

The Circle of Hope Community Center has continued to operate during the pandemic by providing food to students and families. Please help us collect 500 nonperishable food items this semester for families in need.

FOOD NEEDS
With the increasing number of families in need who are visiting the food pantry for assistance, Circle of Hope Community Center has an ongoing need for the donations of the below food staples:
Box Cereal
Rice (1 lb. bags)
Canned Fruit
Soups
Oatmeal
Beans (1 lb. bags)
Canned Vegetables
Peanut Butter
Spaghetti Pasta
Spaghetti Sauce
Mac and Cheese
Jelly

When you go, please wear your mask, put the items in the back seat or in the trunk of your car and let them know it is in support of the FunNation Food Drive. Take a selfie of yourself and your receipt and email it with a copy of your receipt to:

You will earn participation time of the following:
20 min for drive time, for both ways,
10 minutes per every 5 items you collect and donate,
5 minutes for posting your selfie and writing on our FunNation Food Drive Wall,

Donations can be received during operating hours on Monday and Friday 10am-12 noon at the back of their facilities where the garage is located. If you are unable to go during those times, please call (512) 692-8001 or email them at [email protected] to arrange an alternative time. Thank you!
