About Food Pantries

Friends of the Poor operates several food pantries throughout Lackawanna County. Our full time pantries are located at
Jackson Terrace and Valley View Terrace.

Jackson Terrace: 148 Meridian Avenue, Scranton, is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Valley View Terrace, Building 9, 950 Pear Street, is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Application Process

Volunteers are needed to assist with registration, food organization and distribution, set-up and clean up and other duties as needed.
