About I Love My Park Day

Join us in several park projects at Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park to celebrate the fifth annual I Love My Park Day! I Love My Park Day is an exciting statewide event to improve and enhance New York’s parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs.

2016 PROJECTS
1. Building a rock wall and flower bed around the Sign at park entrance
2. Trimming vegitation
and clean up around the Metro-North parking lot and Hudson Valley Rail Trail
3. Shore line clean up Fallkill creek/Hudson River
4. Beautification of the
Walkway’s East Entrance thanks to the Poughkeepsie Garden Club
