About Become A Family Friend

The Family Friends program is a wonderful opportunity to engage your family in a meaningful relationship with an Achiever who needs some extra support. You and/or your family will be matched with one Achiever and will participate with the Achiever and his or her Mentor in various activities throughout the year. You are invited to join them for after-school activities, plan special summer outings, and attend a Friends-Boston Community Service Event alongside your Achiever.

If you and your family decide to join this program, we will match your family with an Achiever, provide you with an orientation and assist you in scheduling visits for the year in advance to work with your schedule.
