We're in the home stretch. Help us cross the finish line!
This restoration project includes painting 30 carousel horses, repainting and making accessible one of the chariot benches, building an accessible ramp and installing a new sturdy and decorative metal fence (which would replace the existing, unattractive chain-link fence).
25 of the 30 horses have already been repainted! We need to finish the last five horses and complete the work on the other parts of the carousel.
This is a truly magical project led by two fine Ithaca artists -- Christi Sobel and Julia John.
