Bowl For Kids' Sake '16

Help kids in your community strike it big!

Make an exponential difference

Spreading awareness is a great way to help support our cause.

Bowl For Kids Sake is the national signature fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters!

Each year half a million people across America come together to have fun and raise money to support Big Brothers Big Sisters as we change how children grow up! Bowl For Kids’ Sake is the perfect way for individuals to make an impact on our community- it only takes a little bit of effort to raise the money that is vital to our program’s success.

Where does the money go?

Big Brothers Big Sisters depends on donations to conduct background checks on volunteers to ensure child safety; and provide ongoing support for children, families and volunteers to build and sustain long-lasting relationships.

Your role in this effort to help local children can not be over stated: We need your help to raise community awareness of the challenges faced by local children and to ask for the financial support needed to help change the trajectory of a child’s life.

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Our mission to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring , professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

About the Organization

Friends of Ithaca Youth Bureau & Cass Park Arena Enclosure Campaign

The Friends of the Ithaca Youth Bureau's mission is to promote positive, engaging opportunities for youth by raising community awareness of and building financial support for the services and programs of the Ithaca Youth Bureau.

FIYB, also known as "Friends", promotes and raises private support for the Ithaca Youth Bureau by developing donor campaigns, planning and implementing special events, forging new partnerships and strengthening existing ones, and otherwise engaging in activities that support the Ithaca Youth Bureau's capacity to serve the community.

The Cass Park Campaign is a capital campaign to encourage community support for enclosing the almost 45 year old arena. The City of Ithaca has invested in the 2016 roof and ceiling renovation. The enclosure project could be built as soon as 2018 if the community participates by making gifts to the project through FIYB.
