About Volunteering At the Downs Syndrome Academy

We are in need of volunteers that will aide teachers and perform clerical duties. Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 3:00. There will be interactions with adults with Down syndrome and Texas certifided special education teachers.

Application Process

Applicants will be given a tour of the facility, an opportunity to meet the students and staff and be interviewed by the President of Friends of Down Syndrome. All applicants will be requested to have a back ground check to be performed.

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
