Giving Tuesday

Help Us Reach $5,000 This Giving Tuesday

Hello,

Why do we say that the cats and dogs at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) are the neediest? Because they don't enjoy the protections of a private shelter. Animals who come to the city shelter can't be turned away because the shelter is full, or because they are too big, or they aren't very adoptable, or they are sick or injured--or any other reason. By law, every animal MUST be accepted by CACC. With thin resources, tough decisions must be made every single day.

However, your gift can make a difference in a big way. When you give to Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control today you increase our ability to provide medical care of all kinds. So even if the city budget doesn't cover the care an animal needs, Friends will be able to do it--up to the limits of our budget!

We provided Blinky, the baby chihuahua, with emergency eye surgery...

We provided Alfie, a 5-week old kitten, with corrective surgery for her severely injured hind legs...

We provided Quilla, a beautiful pittie-mix pup, with an electrocardiogram for her heart murmur and treatment for her anxiety...

We provided Demi, the setter-mix, with emergency surgery to repair her badly torn belly...

Our goal is to increase our medical budget by $5,000 with the gifts we receive today. Anything you can give will be deeply appreciated.

We thank you in advance for caring about Chicago's neediest animals and for doing something about it!
