About Sort and Repackage Food in Our Warehouse!

Volunteer at the Food Bank of Western New York to help those in need of one of life’s most necessary commodities … food. Help to sort and repackage food in our warehouse and know that your efforts will put food on the table of a family in need in our community. We need both individuals and groups to help with this effort. To sort food in the warehouse, you must be 16 years of age.

While we have a lot of requests to volunteer at the Food Bank warehouse during the winter holidays, hunger insecurity is a year-round issue and we welcome individuals and organizations that wish to volunteer with us throughout the year.

We also need volunteers in the office during peak special event times or, if you enjoy working at the special events, we have a variety of those where volunteers are needed. Whether you have a day or just a few hours to spare … we can find a place for you!
