About Alumni of the Junior League of Greater Waterbury

The Junior of League of Greater Waterbury, now disbanded, but once a powerful force of change in our communities play a vital role at Flanders starting in 1964. Comprised of all volunteer women aged 20-45, these young women had progressive ideas and a will and way to get things done. That the Junior League picked Flanders as "their" project that year, and for the next 5 years was the greatest stroke of luck any non-profit could ask for--here was a source of volunteers who did it all--fundraising, education, promotion, administration and public relations.

Flanders would like to invite the alumni of the Junior League, whether from the early 1960s, or the 1990s to gather at Flanders on May 3rd for a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the collaboration. What fantastic things came out of it. Please reach out to learn more
