The Fiennes Institute Is a place where you will find senior citizens of both sexes, who are unable to physically look after themselves. You will also find those who may well have been abandoned by their family because of mental health problems or simply have no relatives to care for them. The residents are housed in 6 wards and are looked after by a staff of roughly 22 nurses.
The Antigua and Barbuda National Association (London) continues to make the Fiennes Institute one of its main projects for assistance. We have provided them with various items over the years including medical equipments and in 2007; a presentation of a 20 cubic foot deep freezer was made. Our future plans are to continue to send goods and such materials as requested. Also each Christmas will send a shoe box (containing gifts) and Christmas card to each individual resident.
