About Be Sweet at Fenner Nature Center's Maple Syrup Festival!

The Maple Syrup Festival is almost here! You can be a part of this sweet event by signing up to volunteer at http://www.mynaturecenter.org/maplesyrupvolunteer

Like to meet new people and answer questions? You might enjoy volunteering at our Information or Membership tables. These are go-to spots for festival visitors to learn about the festival activities and locations, and to find out more about what Fenner has to offer.

Have a passion for food or serving others? We have plenty of volunteer roles where you would fit right in! We need volunteers in our Flapjacks for Fenner tent, serving sausage, juice, and syrup and assisting Chris Cakes with serving up a delicious breakfast. We also need volunteers at our refreshments table, serving up popcorn, hot cocoa, and the ever popular Maple Root Beer.

Got a sweet tooth? Volunteers are needed to demonstrate maple creme making and maple cotton candy making. At these stations, volunteers will be selling these confections as well. Volunteers at these stations will need to attend an orientation.

Is education your thing? Join staff naturalists and interns in the sugar bush teaching visitors about the history of maple syrup making and helping with hands-on activities like syruping and tree tapping. Volunteers in the sugar bush will need to attend an orientation.
