About Million Meal Pack
Feeding Children Everywhere and AARP Foundation are partnering together to mobilize thousands of volunteers and package over 4 million meals this summer. These healthy meals will provide hope to hungry seniors in need, and we’re looking for a support team to work alongside our staff for the day to help lead and facilitate this one of a kind event. There will be great music, good fun, and a volunteer experience like no other. So if you are 18 years or older, able to put in the hard work and want to change the world in one day, join our team!

We need volunteers to help with:
Table Captain
If you have a passion for cheering people on and taking the lead, then we’ve got the perfect job for you! When you join our team as a Table Captain you will be engaging with volunteers and empowering them throughout the event. Throughout the event you will be training and leading your own table of volunteers while working alongside them. At the end of the day you will have played a role in helping thousands of volunteers to package millions of meals.
Requirements:
Comfortable speaking to and training a group of 12-15 volunteers
Able to stand on feet for several hours
Shifts:
Shift 1: 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Shift 2: 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM
All Day: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Logistics
If you enjoy showing off your muscles, working on a team and taking the lead, then we’ve got the perfect job for you! When you join our team as a Logistics Support Team Member, you will be maintaining efficiency on the packaging floor. Throughout the event you will be working alongside our staff to move completed boxes, wrap pallets and fill bins with food product as volunteers package millions of meals. At the end of the event your muscles may be sore, but your hearts will be full.
Requirements:
Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs continuously throughout the day
Able to stand on feet for several hours
Shifts:
Shift 1: 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Shift 2: 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM
All Day: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
