About #NightWithoutABed

On the evening of Saturday, June 26, you are invited to spend the #NightWithoutABed. In choosing to crash on the couch or pitch a tent in the backyard, you will be standing in solidarity with the 1 in 30 US children who will experience homelessness before they enter kindergarten. You can curl up in your car or build a pillow fort. Wherever you sleep, consider just how difficult this would be for a week or even a month. Many families in Knox County live this reality. Couch-surfing & doubling up. Scrounging together enough money for a week-long hotel stay. By sleeping on the floor for one night, you can begin to identify with the families that Family Promise of Knoxville serves. Encourage your friends and family to sponsor your evening of bed-free sleep by donating or invite them to participate. Tag us (@FamilyPromiseofKnoxville) on Facebook and consider learning more about volunteering with us this summer or fall.
