When you volunteer for Family Promise, you play a role in making families reach sustainable independence. Always are looking for people who can help us with the following:

Leadership
Join our board to make decisions and help us with fundraising and other committee work.

Beyond Shelter Store
We have a store that enables our families to shop for essentials at a very low price. You can help us by shopping for items that our families need for everything from diapers and laundry detergent to soap and paper towels. If shopping isn't your thing, you could help us pick up furniture items that the good people in our community donate to help families get started in their own homes.

Meal and Perspective
When our families are staying in the day center, we look for volunteers to supply a meal and then share it with the family. You can share your experiences and perspective with them.

Tasks in the Day Center
Our day center at the top of the hill on North Fourth Street hums with activity. When parents are meeting with our case manager, you could help by playing with their children. And, we always need help with clerical work.
