About Resource Volunteer

The Family Strengthening Program encompasses the whole family in building Five Protective Factors that are known to help families thrive. The Protective Factors include social connections, knowledge of parenting and child development, social and emotional competencies of children, knowing about concrete support in times of need, and parental resiliency.

The resource delivery volunteer will deliver resources to families who are in need of diapers,
wipes, clothes, etc. Deliveries are made in Canyon, Owyhee, Ada, and Elmore county. This volunteer position requires a background check and 1-year commitment but we are flexible if there are times you are unable to deliver.
