We’ve been around town for more than 20 years now, and we hope that our newspaper has been a good companion to you during that time. Last April, we converted our business model to nonprofit in order to build a sustainable future for the RoundTable. As a recent nonprofit, the RoundTable is committed to continuing to provide free, in-depth, unbiased reporting on our City, schools, local businesses, and the arts, along with the many social and racial justice issues facing Evanston. Through community-focused journalism, we seek to foster civic engagement, empower people to address complex issues, and promote a better understanding and appreciation of people from diverse communities.
Our news is free to all readers, which underscores our belief that a strong democracy requires access to accurate, objective information. We are committed deeply to our mission, but we cannot do this alone. With your support, we will continue to provide high-quality journalism that is accessible to everyone in Evanston. Your generosity will also make possible our exciting plans to add new journalists, redesign our website and expand our coverage.
